Q: Why do parents enroll their children in Math Squared?
A: In Math Squared, the greatest benefit of studying Math that it teaches children to think logically, creatively and to learn problem solving skills that can be applied everyday for the rest of their lives. Thus, while other systems may help students improve math skills, Math Squared's system has the higher goal of helping our students develop life skills. Q: How does Math Squared program work?
A: First parents make appointment for the student to take evaluation test at your center. It takes about 40-60 minutes. Then a test report will be given to parents. Based on the report, we will start the student at a comfortable and appropriate point.

All students attend 2 sessions per week. The time for each session is depending on every student’s ability and learning attitude. Most students are able to adapt the self-paced learning system in about 2-3 weeks. After 2-3 weeks, their work time usually decreased once they are used to the system. The following timetable is for your reference only:

Grade Level First 2-3 weeks After 2-3 weeks
Kindergarten 1 hrs. 30-40 mins
1st, 2nd Grade 1- 1 1/2 hrs 40-60 mins
3rd-6th Grade 1 1/2 – 2 hrs 1- 1 1/2 hrs

Validation for students’ learning progress is performed about once a month.

Q: How much do parents pay for Math Squared?

A: Parents pay $25 evaluation fee and $30 one-time registration fee, plus $95-$150 per 8 sessions (about 1 month), depending on the centers and grades. Because Math Squared is highly affordable and effective, many parents keep their children on the program for the longest time; therefore turn over rate is low.

New students are required to have a minimum 24 sessions (about 3 months) commitment because it is usually the time length to see student’s improvement with Math Squared. After that, it’s your choice to charge parents every 24 sessions or 48 sessions at a time.
