Q: How is Math Squared going to help my child?

A: For those students who are already advanced in Math, they will find that it’s interesting to explore more about Math with the Math Squared program. The systematical designed workbooks attract children with its fun by also challenging contents. Once children enjoy learning math, they will want to learn more. Most importantly, it is a self-paced program in which children work according to their ability and progress, not grade level or age; therefore, they can fully understand each concept before advancing to the next level.

On the other hand, for those whose math skills are weaker or not as solid, the program is a good way to build and strengthen their foundation and thus helps students to catch up to their appropriate level and build up their self-esteem. They will become more confident with math in the future. The goal is to provide children with a pleasurable (enjoyable) and motivating learning environment. Math Squared is an individualized program, each student learns at his own pace. Our students will have a good comprehension of Algebra work by 6th grade.

Q: What grade of curriculum do you go up to?

A: There is no certain grade limit, you may visit our Curriculum to learn more. Each student starts with his/her own pace based on the evaluation test taken before the first class. The whole Math Squared system goes up to the Pre-Algebra level. Once the students who have their training done with Math Squared, they have significantly benefited by the excellent self-learning habit and solid math foundation that they developed in the program. These powerful learning attitude and knowledge usually help our students do better later on even with other subjects.

You may not feel the urgency and importance now because your 2nd grade or even 3rd grade child is doing "great" at school; but it doesn't mean things will remain the same once he/she encounters the challenging problem solving questions at 4th or 5th grade or advanced problems in higher grades.
